Just got an opportunity to perform a network lan site survey. The job seems straight forward and should take about 5 hours to complete. To my knowledge the company has about 4-5 racks, with pbx, backup system, servers, switches, routers, etc. They want to perform upgrades based on the survey. Hence the need for the survey.

Typically I’m part of the larger team of project consultants that is hired to perform various roles. This is my first site survey in which I won’t know my pay until implementation and I’m unaware of how much I should charge just for the survey. I am part of the overall project implementation team so I’m not too concerned about income. I am just curious and welcome some honest feedback, how much should I charge.

I am using Nokia N73 mobile and i have data cable for it. I wanna use Visual studio 2005 for programming. Is it possible to design an application that displays the text typed in the mobile simultaneously on the pc monitor ? Also is it possible to track the joystick of mobile and move pc mouse pointer accordingly ? If possible where can i find information about that ? If not possible, Which software can i use for such ideas ?

Error message- You can not place a call because messenger is not currently connected to the voice service. this is either you are behind a restrictive firewall or because we are fixing a problem with yahoo service…
Is there anyone from Dubai, UAE?
Coz most people are facing this problem. There is only one internet service provider in Dubai called ETISALAT and they have blocked Yahoo service because it is using VoIP protocol which is banned here in Dubai by Telecom Regulatory Authority of UAE..
But the thing is ,many people in dubai are using this service without any problem.
I also tried installing older versions of Yahoo Msngr but no Luck . I also cheked with my antivirus software and windows firewall setting, Can anybody suggest any good solution which can make my voice calls work? any help will be appreciated.

Anyway thts a very common problem in Dubai now and the responsible body is the Etisalat which is internet service provider here ….. I tried to install Skype, Yahoo, Google talk etc but no way all these use Voip and thts BANNED in this so called "Modern Cosmopolitan City" (($%*$%^@@#*$)

i saw people running track but what is that thing that they put their foot on before they run off, it’s hard to explain but it helps you start off well its metal and you place your feet on it at starting position. do you know what it’s called?

I keep getting calls that read no data sent on my caller id . I would like to know how to block them ?
