If I plug in one or the other into the splitter, they work. As soon as I plug in the second phone though, neither of them have a dial tone. The arrows for the different lines just blink, and never stop. So they are getting a signal but not dial tone? Is it the splitter or the phones?

I don’t like any phones that Verizon is selling because of the Data Plans, I like the phones T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T sell, but I want it one the Verizon Service. What do I need to do to do this?
Also, what phone should I get? I want a QWERTY phone, with a 2+ Megapixel camera, any suggestions?

First, a bit about my background.. I currently work as a Network Engineer, mainly with Cisco routers/switches and VPN devices. I am throughly familiar with Windows, both as a workstation and server, and have one more test to go to complete my MCSE. However, I have no real experience with Linux, and feel like this is both a hole in my personal knowledge and in my resume.
I can do basic user stuff both from a command line and in Xwindows, but have no real command of it.
That said, I intend to rectify this. I want to start using Linux as my primary operating system on my personal PC, as I feel this is a great first step to really force myself to learn it. I need to know what distribution would be best for me to use. My concern is some of them seem to have alot of propriatary tools that are not found in other linux distros, I want to find one to learn on that will best allow me to be comfortable on any linux distro I run into in the future. Thanks much for your advice!

I recently switched from traditional landline phone to Vonage cable internet phone. However, my home security system can not communicate with the monitoring station as a result of disconnecting the phone line. How could I rewire my home phone wires to make my home security system work with the internet phone?

Hi,
I wanna buy a gaming headset but its really expensive for me. Then I stumbled upon conference headsets– much cheaper. So, I was wondering if there are any differences between the two– headset for gaming and headset for conference calls.
Thanks in advance!

It showed me that NPR doesn’t care where the money comes from as long as they get their paycheck.
It showed me that they will support any cause that will support them financially.
It just bothers me that Liberals who are always talking about fairness and equality don’t see a problem with it.
I love to here the explanations. It will be sad when NPR has to stand on it’s own Merit like MSNBC. LOL

I had a call with a credit card representative last month regarding a rejection of increased APR and am now told there is no record of the conversation. I know the exact minute and duration of the phone call and the name of the customer service representative. Do I have a legal right to review the recorded conversation?
Please only respond if you know of a legal precedent or legal code that i can cite/reference.
