Call Center Software Archives

Just for the heck of it, I just wanted to know if there is any software that can be used to track down cell phones also known as mobile phones. AND A LEGAL ONE!

How to record telephone calls? Please help?

I have a business and would like to implement a system in which I can record every single call made and received in order to have control of customer service, etc. What do you recommend? I do not want my employees to have access to the device, software or whatever it is. Thanks

Over the past two years, I used various credit cards and debit cards to pay a well known online business. I called today to renew their service and pay by credit card. I chose to call so that I could request and be sure that after they received their confirmation they would not keep the information on file in their system. They told me that it was impossible to delete it and they had four different cards on file from past transactions. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I was told that there were supervisors but they would not talk to customers –and (exact verbatim quote) "There never will be a supervisor available to help you." They would not give me a telephone number of the corporate office. A 2nd call revealed even more cards. Is this legal? I live in Connecticut. The business seems to be in California (& TX?) How can I get my credit card info removed? Can I somehow (short of hiring a lawyer) force them to delete the information? Why on earth would they insist on keeping it?
The company is eHarmony.
(In answer to the question of which company it was — eHarmony.) I checked the Better Business Bureau website and they showed over 500 complaints against the company. I’m not sure that is relevant or not.

I work in IT at a community college. We are looking to implement some sort of fixed asset/inventory tracking solution, one which may integrate w. some sort of a bar code tracking system. Does anyone know of such a program either server based, web based or local install that might do this?

I’m trying to upgrade my companies current phone system. We currently use an Avaya phone system, and Verizon as our service provider. What we’re looking to do is upgrade our conference capabilities. Right now we can only have two external parties connected unless we use a dial in number. Although the dial in number works my boss would prefer for us to be able to simply call people and add them to the call as needed, as well as let them call in when needed. In addition he would like to be able to transfer the call to a another phone if need be. For many reasons a VOIP system has been ruled out and is not an a option (although it seems like an easy solution, trust me I’ve been pushing for it). There has to be a non-VOIP phone system out there that can handle these simple tasks. Please help!
