Several cell phone companies provide computer cards to be able to access the internet through your laptop. I know for a fact that verizon does and there service has been pretty dependable, at least for my phone. I have not ever tried out there service, but I’d imagine as long as you were getting a digital signal the service would be pretty dependable. I have no idea how much it costs though.

Here, I decided to lookup to see how much verizon charged for their wireless broadband. It appears to just be a flat rate of $59 dollars a month (which would mean unlimited use). You can take a look at the page: http://b2b.vzw.com/productsservices/wirelessinternet/
very expensive, they charge you on every page you view, plus your monthly subscription
