My wife wants the blackberry to do what her old phone did and display a clear message that says "You have a text message from 555 555 5555" on it.
Can this be done? Is there some other sort of notice that will clearly indicate text messages have been received?

When I open an email on my blackberry it will mark it as read in my outlook inbox, this is ok. However, if I open the email in outlook first it will not mark it as read on my blackberry. Can this be done? We are using an exchange server to manage email but we do not have blackberry enterprise server.

I’ve added a filter for specific emails to go into a folder, but now I don’t get those emails to my blackberry like all other emails. What’s wrong? They go into the folder, but cannot access those through my blackberry.

The first one is E-mail and Web for blackberry, for 29.99, The second is for The Blackberry Solution unlimited Data Usage for 44.99 a month. Is the larger plan for tethering a laptop? I will only be using the phone for fun, doing random stuff. I want to make sure I don’t end up with a bunch of overage charges.
