I’m currently using a Nexus S with Fido as my service provider. I was just wondering if I could see a person’s name when they call if I have them in my contacts or if I use an app like PrivacyStar . Of course this is all considering that I don’t have caller ID.

I purchased a different phone, a wall phone with 2 remotes. No longer does the caller ID show up on my TV. Why? What do I have to do to get it to show again on the TV? How did it get there in the first place? I have ordinary caller ID.
My TV is Direct TV, separately billed from my ATT phone. That has not changed

me and my boyfriend have this thug love lol (no hitting and whatnot) so what kind of song should i make his caller id ?

I know there are websites out there, but just wondering what the likelihood is that I have received an actual "spoofed" text message. I received a text from someone I talk to regularly, Caller ID identified, but the person says they did not send me this text?

As in spoofing I mean be able to make any number you want appear on the other persons’ caller ID when you call.

This guy has been calling me and doing really disgusting things over the phone, but must be hitting *72 or whatever you press to make it say "private call" on the caller ID. The courts are now involved. Is there anyway that my cell phone company can trace the number that it came from. Because he may not have used his cell phone and I don’t want the courts to run his cell phone records and say it wasn’t him. I’m hoping there is a way to trace the exact number it came from through my phone to see if it came from his house or if he used his friends cell phone. Does anyone know????

I know there is an app that you can get to change the number on someone elses caller id, I would like to know if there is any way to do that from a computer.

Say I have someones number from texting, is there anyway I could find their caller ID through that?

My last call came in last night around 9pm and my phone has stopped working. No dial tone, no caller id and thus I can’t make outgoing calls. I have checked all the cordless phones to make sure they are properly charged and connected. Verizon claims to have tried to test the line and can’t determine if it is inside or outside the house but can send someone out starting at bucks. This may be the end of land lines for me….Any suggestions????

Also when I call from my cell phone, it rings several times and then goes to voicemail, but the ringer never sounds and again no caller ID.
