I got a job at a call center working for nationstar in customer service. What should I expect?? Is training hard? What all will I be doing?

Are confirmation numbers worth anything at all?

We’ve all gotten confirmation numbers (from online transactions, bill pay, telephone business, etc.) but *every* time that I’ve called customer service and referenced a previous "confirmation number" or "reference code", they seem oblivious to what it is.

Are these numbers just randomly generated junk to make people feel at ease, as if customer service really knows what they’re doing?

Why is it so expensive to call Philippines from US?

While it is a lot cheaper to call countries like Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, Nigeria etc calling Philippines from the US is relatively expensive. Why is this the case, when there are so many of Filipinos live in the US and when US a lot of positive history with them? Also a lot of customer service call centers for US companies are there as well.
Please… I *DO NOT* want suggestions for calling Philippines. I only want answers that try to explain the reason the cost of calling P.I is so high. Thanks.

What Job should I choose?

Job A: Its a call center position where i will be dealing with customers, I have no experience with that and I don’t know if i will be good at it, but it will give me that experience i am trying to seek, i’v always hated telemarketers but its inbound calls so its ok.

Job B: ecommerce codorinater, where i will be taking orders from the website and processing them and sending them out, i am comfortalbe with this role and have experience with it, this job will provide me with a little customer service thru email and such, i am my own boss since i am the only person to run the department, but its twice the distance as job A.

So do i go with a job which will give me more experience in an area i am not good at or be in a job i am comfotable in.

HELP – customer service?

i have a interview for inbound calls for a bank which is customer service focused how do u build a customer relationship over the phone within a couple of minutes

I’ve had about 7 years experience in office work doing everything from data entry to Microsoft office to Excel to phones to mailing to customer service to scheduling appointments. I am very interested in working from home. I think that’s pretty cool. I don’t want to be scammed either.

Where can I find a reputable site to post my resume to and look for jobs there?

1.Do you have any outbound (telesales) management experience? If yes, briefly explain your outbound call campaign (cold calling, market research, customer service, up selling etc.);

2.What type of training have you provided to your direct staff, where, when, and why?

3.What have you done to build the competence of your staff?

4.You are a Sales Manager with 15 Sales Representatives reporting to you, is there a link between your success and their success? Please explain;

5.Two employees come to you about a verbal disagreement. One says the incident happened one way, and the other employee has a different story. There are no other witnesses. What will you do?

Please guys give me answers not instructions

thanks in advance

I have a Vtech Dect 6.0 digital phone and answering machine. An important message that was left was accidentally deleted. I have already looked in the manual about possible ways to retrieve a deleted message but found nothing on the subject. I have also tried calling customer service but they aren’t open until Monday! Is there anything I can do to get this message back or is it deleted forever?
