I just graduated with a bachelor of electrical engineering (telecommunications) and i am a (ccna, ccnp, ccna wireless, and ccnp wireless) cisco certified. I am also a MCITP certified. I am studying for the ccie wireless now. I have no experience whatsoever (practical). how likely is it for me to find a job in canada and what would be my average starting salary?

I got a job at a call center working for nationstar in customer service. What should I expect?? Is training hard? What all will I be doing?

My dad blocked a number that i frequently called so now i cant call that number. Is there anyway that i can get my phone to call that number or get it unblocked?
I’m 14 years old and my dad knows that he blocked the number i just wanna know if i could unblock it without letting him know that i did it
And im to young to get a job

Things to do while telemarketing?

I work at a call centre and mostly do outbound calling to previous customers. Barely any of them pick up so I’m trying to think of things to do while between calls?
I got
read a book
String bracelet making
And thats it.
No it isn’t because I am uninterested in my job. I am a born multi-tasker and I hate the constant "doing nothing" thing.
By the way, it has to be kind of subtle, because i work in a cubicle around many other people.

Most businesses have some sort of automation in their telephone system. Some answer the phone, others route the call based on the caller’s input (press [1] for this; [2] for that), yet others present caller requested data (bank-by-phone, informational hotlines, etc.) Do they all have to sound so poorly, and must they be so user-unfriendly? They never seem to offer the menu choice you called for. Have you heard any that are particularly awful…or worthy of congratulations for a job well done? Let us know.

I am looking for quality companies that I can submit my resume for working at home. Does anyone have any ideals in this subject matter? I do not want to pay to find a job or I do not want to be part of a Network/Multi-level pyramid. I am looking for ways to work at home.

Sincerely yours

Richard Thompson

I am starting a small decorations business while still keeping my 9-5 job. I can’t answer the phone until 3pm, but I would not like to loose potential clients that might call during those hours. I don’t want them to be turned off about having to leave a message on an answering machine. Any ideas?

The job I want has a HUGE pay range. I am wondering if the pay is determined by the location (because they are hiring in many many cities), or only by experience. I currently make very very close to the high end. Will the pay be limited because I am in a smaller city? or will I be paid close to what I get now, if I am hired.

Could This Business Opp Be A Scam?

Earlier this week, I saw a posting on one of my college’s bulletin boards about a job posting for "filling out simple applications" for an hour, with a mention of an additional pay scale of – per application. The only requirements were that I had to be able to submit the applications, and to be able to take inbound calls.

I’ve been constantly scolded about my mom about considering calling the number, though the only possible catch she can come up with that is clearly evident is that they want me to be right next to a phone as I work. I don’t know how tech-savvy they are, so her claims I’d need to drive around might be nixed by simply faxing things to them. I’d also add the college’s very persnickety about rules, so I expect they examined what these people are hiring for before they let them put the posting up.

In a nutshell, can anyone determine if there’s anything I should be careful about, should I call? I’d be happy to hear if anyone else has ever had a situation like this too. Thanks!
