do you like high prices and lack of variety and competition? do you like being taken advantage of as a consumer?
At&t said they would bring back 5000 jobs if we let them merge with t-mobile. Why can’t they bring the jobs back anyway? shows how much they give a crap about employing americans.
@Robert: I see you don’t have to pretend at all. It seems to come very natural for you.

I currently work full time in a supermarket as a checkout operator. I have been offered two jobs. One with stagecoach as a bus driver and one with lloyds tsb in a call centre (Inbound calls) as a service advisor. Not really sure which one to go for and I understand only I can decide. But it would help me a lot if you could give me your opinion? Im looking at the pros and cons of both jobs and finding it difficult to decide. Ive looked up on the net about both and with both, people say bad things. Could you tell me your ideal choice would be and why?
This would be much appreciated!
Thank you

I applied for the classes to get Cisco Certified in one year. I was just wondering, what kind of jobs can I get with this certificate, and what would I actually be doing in these jobs? Thanks!

I’m looking to supplement my income and work a part-time call center customer service job 2-4 nights during the week starting at 5pm. However, most of the jobs I come across are only paying minimum wage. I’m looking for at least .00-.00 or more for part-time hours. Can someone PLEASE help me who does work part-time or know someone who does and is making at least the above amount? The areas of consideration for part-time employment are in lombard, Downers Grove, Hillside, Bellwood, Berkeley, Illinois. Thank-you guys so much! Happy Holidays as well to you and yours.

I am attending texas A&M university and they don’t have a broadcasting major. they only have a communications or telecommunications major. I talked to the advisor and she told me that I should do a BA in telecommunications. However, I researched about telecommunications and all I get are jobs about assembling cable and phone lines. That is not what I want. I want a major that can be flexible. I also enjoy advertising and public relations

I’m a stay at home mom, and being on the phone, is not an option. I type 75-80 wpm accurately, and have several years exp. doing clerical type jobs. Any, and all suggestions would be welcome, as long as they are productive.

If I am applying for jobs similar to pizzerias, etc. is it a good idea if I called the manager the next day after applying for a job online? Would it look too pushy & unnecessary or is it smart? What should I say when calling?

I’ve had about 7 years experience in office work doing everything from data entry to Microsoft office to Excel to phones to mailing to customer service to scheduling appointments. I am very interested in working from home. I think that’s pretty cool. I don’t want to be scammed either.
Where can I find a reputable site to post my resume to and look for jobs there?

I have related questions, this is follow-up. When I started my job about a month ago I was apprehensive and still am, somewhat. My trainer thought I was not putting forth my best effort and admittedly, maybe I wasn’t so I stepped up my game and worked on correcting these flaws. He did not like the fact that I did not know where we were on an assignment and that I did not seem "engaged" enough. At times though I felt he was avoiding my questions and I often had to repeat myself two or three times before being addressed. Anyway, we overcame most of the hard patches in our interaction and he told me that he liked me (not the romantic way of course). We started on the phones yesterday (in an inbound call center) and he sat across from me as I successfully completed my first call. He told me good job and shortly thereafter said, "If you’re nervous, don’t be, you’re doing just fine." One call came in and I was not able to address her issue directly. I asked for his assistance and was still not able to give the customer a satisfactory (in my opinion) answer. The trainer did however stand there and assist some other agents through their calls. Will I progress at this? Does it sound like I will be left to hang by the very person who trained me and says he doesn’t want anyone fired? My patience was really tested on this. I want to stick with this as jobs are tough to come by right now. Any opinions/advice will be greatly appreciated.
