My mother’s vision & hearing are both going. She can still see & hear, just nowhere near as good as she used to. I’m trying to find a phone that will help her out. I found an "amplified" phone, so she’ll hear better on it & it has speed dial buttons where you can put photos, for easier calling. I also found a caller ID that talks. It tells the programmed NAME of the person calling (not just the #), the only thing is it doesn’t have a display. So then I found a LARGE disply caller ID. I’m not sure, but it would be nice if I could also program the name of the frequent people that call into it, since most people who call have their phones under other names. I want to make is EASY for mom to know whose calling. A combo of ALL of these into one would be great. Or at the talking caller ID w/jumbo screen. If it doesn’t exist, is it possible to have 2 caller ID’s hkd up 2 the same phone? Thanks!

We’ve all gotten confirmation numbers (from online transactions, bill pay, telephone business, etc.) but *every* time that I’ve called customer service and referenced a previous "confirmation number" or "reference code", they seem oblivious to what it is.

Are these numbers just randomly generated junk to make people feel at ease, as if customer service really knows what they’re doing?

I work at a call centre and mostly do outbound calling to previous customers. Barely any of them pick up so I’m trying to think of things to do while between calls?

I am going for the airdrop inbound VI challenge, which means getting 1000 care packages(or "calling in 1000 care packages"). Just curious as if to if a care package counts if you throw the marker down, but the game ends before the care package is dropped by the copter. Answer if you know FOR SURE.

My husband gave me his old phone — a Smartphone. I have a very basic plan, but I liked the QWERTY keyboard and GPS. Somehow our wireless provider "knew" that I switched to a Smartphone and automatically billed me more for a data plan. How did they know? I assume the phone sends out some kind of signal. Do "quick messaging" phones (like the LG neon) do the same thing? Thanks

I know there are websites out there, but just wondering what the likelihood is that I have received an actual "spoofed" text message. I received a text from someone I talk to regularly, Caller ID identified, but the person says they did not send me this text?

So when the station is called Washington St. – Outbound, and then Sutherland Rd. – outbound…. those are two stops that are right after one another. Does this mean that only outbound trains stop at these two stops? Do you need to walk all the way up the street to the "warren st. – inbound" stop to go inbound if you live next to the washington st. outbound?
