What is the term for the text messaging format that makes all of your text messages look like an instant message chat box? It starts with a T I think…

My wife wants the blackberry to do what her old phone did and display a clear message that says "You have a text message from 555 555 5555" on it.

Can this be done? Is there some other sort of notice that will clearly indicate text messages have been received?

I have Cingular and I just added 1500 text-message feature to my plan.
I was wondering if I already have those 1500 text messages added to my bill already or will it be added on to the next cycle? Can I text now without having to pay .20 cents per text message?

I want to see the call log of a t-mobile phone and the text messages sent to and from. How can i do this? Can i call and they’ll mail me a paper?

i have a samsung sync [SGH A707] and I’ve gotten a lot of free ringtones via bluetooh, and from the internet.I can set them as ringtones for calls, but not text messages. WHY? it’s the same format. and as of right now i have to use that annoying one that came on the phone. what do I do?

I tried to send a international text message to Dominica (Caribbean) and I did everything my phone company told me to do. Here are their combinations I tried 001+country code+city code+ phone number and that did not work! My phone said it sent but when I talked to my friend he said he never received any of my text messages. I tried just 1+city code+phone number and that didn’t work what do I need to do to send these international text messages.

I keep getting text messages saying "Please place a voice call to activate your account. Its getting very annoying and i need to know how to place a voice call…….Can anybody help me?

I have an old Blackberry Pearl and I haven’t dropped it or anything – though the previous owner has a lot – but I didn’t push any buttons, just went to check my text messages, and the call log or dialing menu thing pops up! I go to push annnnnyyything and it pops up! I try to click exit or switch application, but they don’t click.

I have taken out the battery, reset it, everything I can think of! The previous owner has had this happen to them before. Please help

I recently received a 0 bill for text messages sent to this number in Romania: 1-407095251. There were like 160 messages sent in around 3 days, and its under investigation by my phone company.

I don’t speak Romanian, so I can’t find a website that does this or anything.
On my phone bill, it says 1-, but I talked to the Rep, and she told me it is actually a Romanian number. Its probably supposed to be +40 or something.
